The Reserves Network works with over 1,000 active customers in a multitude of industries, and places nearly 20,000 employees annually at more than 40 operating locations throughout Ohio, Illinois, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
This position is responsible for the support of both The Reserves Network operations and outside clients. Support will include phone support, on-site repair, replacement, install or reconfiguration of equipment, network consulting and service, work with a variety of software packages, cyber security, and other technical issues. We expect this person to develop a thorough understanding of The Reserves Network systems, servers, routers, and other equipment, as well as needed knowledge to support our various outside clients. This position reports directly to the V.P. of the FocIS Group.
The Support Engineer MUST have the following expertise and continuously update skills in the following areas:
Minimum 3 Years in a Help Desk/Support/Consulting role
Windows Server, 2008 through 2016
Windows Remote Desktop Services – all versions
Knowledge of Router configuration required, including advanced threat and traffic analysis
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP systems
Various Routers/Firewalls, TCP/IP Networking
Gigabit Switches, POE switches
Various Brands and Configurations of PC’s
Candidates also possessing these skills would be preferred:
VMWare version 5 and 6
IIS Version 7
SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2016
Exchange Mail 2003, 2010, 2012, 2016
VEEAM, Backup Exec, Windows Backup – versions 2003 and later
